What is scrip? Scrip is an everyday gift certificate from stores we all shop at. We buy these gift certificates at a discounted price and resell them to our families at face value. It’s that simple. You don’t need to buy anything different or sell anything to your neighborsand friends.
Here is an example
You purchase $400 in scrip for Fred Meyer. When we purchase the same scrip, we only paid $380. Just by doing your everyday shopping, the school just earned $20. If 200 families each participated and ordered the same $400, we would earn $4000 per month without having to ask you, the parents, to spend any more than you normally would.
