VOLUNTEERS! We welcome all volunteers to our school! Our school-wide safety plan states that all volunteers must enter through the front door, report to the school office, sign in on the clipboard, and wear a volunteer badge while working in the school. This “badge of honor” shows the students and staff immediately that you are a safe person and are here to help the school.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES abound at St. Philomena School and Parish:
- Hot Lunch
Volunteer helpers can assist with cooking, serving or dishwashing. It’s a great way to meet other parents and be a part of your child’s day and have a bunch of fun! If you can help please contact the school office.
VOLUNTEER HOURS:
40 hours for 2 parent households and 20 hours for single parent households.
Please remember these hours must be secured by May 31, 2008 or you will be assessed $20.00 per hour. $800.00 for 2 parent households and $400.00 for single parent households.
SERVICE HOURS:
*Parent service hours definition: Valid service hours are hours which complement the good works of St. Philomena parish and school.
If you ever lose your calendar (it happens) then just use a piece of paper labeled “Parish/School service hours†or click here to print another one.
